Tim is a cloud infrastructure consultant, with two specialisms: containers and payment card security. Working for The Scale Factory, a UK-headquartered SaaS consultancy business, Tim is comfortable getting to grips with customer architectures based on open source technologies and the wider ecosystem that uses them.
He’s also a contributor to Kubernetes itself, primarily the documentation: Tim is a technical lead for SIG Docs, the group that looks after the Kubernetes website and documentation.
Tim’s cloud qualifications include AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Professional, PCI Professional, (ISC)² Systems Security Certified Professional, and a Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist.
Whitney is a lovable goofball who enjoys understanding and using tools in the cloud native landscape. Creative and driven, Whitney recently pivoted from an art-related career to one in tech. She is a CNCF Ambassador and active in the open source community. You can catch her lightboard streaming show ⚡️ Enlightning on Tanzu.TV. And not only does she rock at tech - she literally has toured playing in the band Mutual Benefit on keyboards and vocals.
