kapp-controller is a part of the Carvel toolset. kapp-controller is a Kubernetes operator, which helps you build, deploy and manage your own applications in a GitOps methodology. It also helps package your software into easily distributable packages and enables your users to discover, configure, and install these packages on a Kubernetes cluster. In this session we will explain how kapp-controller works, ways to deploy it, and some of the major features it provides

Scott Rosenberg has been working in the IT field since 2014, starting as a VMware Infra admin and then pivoting to the Cloud and Cloud Native ecosystem. Since 2018 Scott has been leading the Cloud practice at TeraSky, leading innovative solutions and implementing them on a global scale for all of the company’s customers. Scott is active in the Kubernetes project as well as many ecosystem tools surrounding Kubernetes such as Pinniped, ClusterAPI, Carvel, and KubeApps.
