Rick Osowski is a Principal Engineer at Seagate Technology, pulling from over 18 years in the IT industry, with experience ranging from Development to QA to Technical Sales to Product Management to Solution Architecture. His current focus is on the adoption of Kubernetes and Containers throughout the open-source object storage project, CORTX.
Formerly, Rick was a Senior Solution Architect for IBM Cloud and led the Event-Driven Architecture domain with a focus on Apache Kafka-based reference architectures.
Rick lives in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois with his wife and daughter. He is a passionate mental health advocate, podcast host, and non-profit supporter.
